Website event log.

 

Sat 31st March:   Registered domain name “Strathearncricketclub.co.uk” with Cyberquest.

  Mon 2nd April:     Host 50mb web site www.strathearncricketclub.co.uk  set up by Cyberquest.

  Tues 3rd April:     Chose style and theme for site from Frontpage library.

  Wed 4th April:     Started creating prototype site.  

    Mon 9th April:   Mirror site set up.   See Strathearn Press Release 2

    Tues 10th April:   Great photos from Gordon received and put into site.

     Sat 14th  April:   Created updateFixtures page for insertion of fixtures.

    Mon 16th April:   Created updateResults page for dynamic online entry of fixture results.   It works!

    Wed 18th April:   Added "theCounter" to home page.   It works!

     Sat 20th April:    Created Juniors results table with update and delete pages.

         Sun 6th May:     Got FEEDBACK page working correctly on my server but

      problems on web host due to access control.  Messages and    game reports may now be posted instantly to the site when working properly.

      Tues 8th May:     Tidied up the NEWS and GROUND pages.   Added location maps.                     Removed "under construction"

      Sat   12th May:   ASP update pages on site not working.   Something has been switched off !!

      Mon 14th May:   Investigated asp problem.   Must give scripts execute permission.   Got things working again but  then Publish screwed up.

      Tues 15th May:   Publish fixed by reloading Frontpage extensions.   Edited update/delete pages for juniors page.   Still to do LEAGUE and HISTORY pages.

     Mon 21st May:   Entered league results onto leagues page.  Put league game reports onto news page.  

   Mon 2nd July:   Updated results, league results, league table. 

Webmaster on holiday.   7th July   ---   14th August

Thursday 6th September:   Updated all Strathearn results.

Friday 7th September:   FINAL LEAGUE table entered.

( Still  league fixture results and reports to update ).

    Sun 25th November:   Posted Tour2001 guide onto website  ( At last )

    Tues 27th November:   Added page of tour photos to Tour2001guide.

    Thur 29th November:   Added  "Previous / Next"  tags to guide pages.

    Fri 30th November:   Used  Linkbot  to test links in website.

    TODO:   Add appreciation to Jack Lihoe
